Sauganash Real Estate Market

Sauganash Real Estate

Sauganash's single-family homes include fabulous English Tudors, brick three-stories, and traditional Georgian-style homes. Because of the strong Sauganash family tradition, many of the homes have been passed down from parents to children to grandchildren. New single-family homes have also been developed in Sauganash, however, each home is almost always built with the same traditional brick appeal to upkeep the unbeatable curb appeal of the neighborhood. Should buyers be lucky enough to find a single-family home on the Sauganash real estate market, expect the sales price to be somewhere between $400,000 and $700,000, depending of course on square footage and modern updates and amenities. The average Sauganash townhome sales price is right around $285,000, while the average condo price sits at approximately $219,000.

Sauganash Community Amenities

Each Fourth of July, the Sauganash neighborhood has a one-of-a-kind parade and block parties are hosted all throughout the short-lived summer months. Residents from all over the neighborhood partake in the fun-filled festivities which only strengthen the strong family-like bond and atmosphere Sauganash offers. Most of the restaurants and cafes in Sauganash have a casual atmosphere and cater to just about anyone living around the neighborhood. Two of the Asian-inspired favorites are the sushi and Thai cuisine of Chai's Asian Bistro and Mee Mah, located at 4032 W Peterson Avenue. If you're looking to spend a little time outdoors in Sauganash, be sure to visit the small and secluded Sauganash Park, a snug little hideaway on North Kostner Avenue, and the LaBagh Woods, a mature, wooded wonderland that's part of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County.
