The Museum Campus in Chicago is essentially a 57-acre park that surrounds some of the top destinations in Chicago, including the home of the Chicago Bears (Soldier Field), the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the Adler Planetarium. Thousands of tourists flock to the Museum Campus every year to enjoy these three world-class museums and the breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. Other attractions in the Museum Campus neighborhood include the 12th Street Beach and the Northerly Island Park, which is a beautiful 91-acre peninsula that extends into Lake Michigan at the heart of Museum Campus. The majority of Northerly Island Park is filled with landscaped walking paths and play areas, but it also houses the 7,500-seat Charter One Pavilion, which hosts music concerts and family matinees all throughout the spring and summer months.
