The Fullerton Brown Line station directly serves Lincoln Park residents, DePaul University students, patrons of the Children’s Memorial Hospital and members of the St. Josaphat Roman Catholic Church. An increase in use from 2006 to 2007 prompted a complete overhaul to the Fullerton Brown, Red and Purple Line station, as it currently acts as the busiest Brown Line stop in the CTA’s “L” system. The renovations were officially complete in December of 2009 and the Fullerton Brown Line is now one of the more up-to-date CTA transit stops in all of Chicago. Real estate near the Fullerton Brown Line, as well as much of Lincoln Park, is highly sought after and boasts some of the most high-end townhome and brownstone residences in the city.
