The Clinton Blue Line station is popular among tourist and other long-distance travelers spending time in Chicago. Conveniently located near Union Station and the Greyhound bus terminal, the Clinton Blue Line is also the closest CTA train station to the Old Chicago Main Post Office. This is especially significant because of the recent unveiling of new development plans to the long-vacant property. British developer, Bill Davies, has promised to transform the massive old post office lot into an “urban mecca” that will include five residential, office and hotel towers. The final tower planned is slated to be 120 stories and if built, will hold the title for North America’s tallest building. Should construction for this project actually take place, real estate values near the Clinton Blue Line will certainly increase and maintain a high value.
