Randolph Street Market Opens Up 2013 Season This Weekend!
You know summer in Chicago is officially here when talk about outdoor antique shows and street festivals begin to fill up your news feeds. This year, the annual Randolph Street Market, taking place at 1340 W. Washington in the West Loop neighborhood, will open its summer season starting this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eager market goers can expect a range of awesome treasures that will include Parisan antiques, vintage clothing and accessories, classic antique bicycles, and most likely lots of great furniture and unique pieces of art.
A beer garden, old-time carnival games, cooling stations with seating, fashion shows, and even some great food vendors will also be on hand, so if you’re ready to kick off summer with some fabulous vintage shopping, definitely make plans to check out the 2013 Randolph Street Market. Tickets to get in are only $8 online, or $10 at the gate. And if you need extra incentive to check out opening weekend at the Randolph Street Market, why not take in lunch or an early dinner than on Randolph Street’s Restaurant Row? Of course, most Chicagoans are already quite familiar with the incredible variety and the world-class dining scene that lines West Randolph Street. But if I had to give you a couple suggestions on what might be a great choice after a long day of shopping, you can’t go wrong with Grange Hall Burger Bar or the mouth-watering tacos at De Cero. Happy shopping [and dining] and we’ll see you out at the Randolph Street Market this weekend!
