Streeterville Residents to Embrace Foodease

Foodease in Water Tower PlaceHave you ever been shopping at Streeterville’s Water Tower Place, went downstairs to Foodlife-the mall’s current food court, ate lunch and came away unsatisfied? Or maybe you thought the food was great at Foodlife, but would have preferred more restaurant choices? Well, now when shopping along Chicago’s Magnificent Mile or within the confines of Water Tower Place, consumers will now have triple the dining options as Foodease prepares to make its grand opening this week. The brand-new Foodease Market will have a similar concept to its food court neighbor, Foodlife, but offers a few other interesting perks. When entering, customers will actually grab a basket, instead of a tray, to accommodate a market-like feel, which is especially perfect for grabbing dinner on the way home, or if you simply don’t like running the risk of tipping over a tightly-packed tray in front of dozens of hungry mall-goers. Also, Foodease will house a delicious market sandwich stand that will serve a wide-variety of above average, made-to-order sandwiches that will especially cater to the busy lunch crowd in downtown Chicago. Other dining delights planned to occupy the massive 7,500 square foot location include a wondrous chocolate room with roughly 50 brands of chocolate treats and desserts, a larger salad and sushi bar and even a 12-seat wine bar towards entrance, which will serve cheese, charcuterie and wineStreeterville Foodease by the glass. In addition, there is also a section of space off to the side of Foodease that’s completely dedicated to wine retail space, which is also rumored to have end-of-the month blowout sales in order to vacate current inventory and make room for new vintages. Like what you hear so far? Good, because that’s the bulk of what to expect when visiting Water Tower Place’s newest addition. But just to throw in a little extra info before checking out the new Foodease Market, there’s also going to be a Coke Freestyle machine for soda, which has over 100 different varieties of Coke beverage products. Trust me, this may not sound like a huge deal, but if you haven’t experienced one of these new Coke Freestyle dispensers, you’re in for a treat-they’re awesome!
