Fortunately, many of Chicago’s western suburbs deliver the best of both worlds, offering easy access to the city, access to nature and a more sprawling, expansive layout, and lively downtown scenes. Who says you have to head into Chicago to enjoy shopping, dining or a night out? These highly-coveted suburbs may very well be the ideal destination to put down roots for those who value a slightly slower pace with close proximity to downtown Chicago.
