Southport Corridor Real Estate For SaleA Facebook post from one of our favorite neighborhood blog sites caught our attention today that details a very high-end condo with some rather unique and desirable features. As our faithful readers know, the Southport Corridor is among the top neighborhoods we suggest for home buyers searching the north side, and if you have some deep pockets, perhaps the luxury listing at 3601 N. Southport #4b might satisfy all your needs and wants in a stunning new north side Chicago condo.

Acting as the luxurious and expansive penthouse unit at 3601 N. Southport, it’s not the 10-foot ceilings, plush master suite, or custom upgrades in the kitchen or bathrooms that initially caught our attention at unit #4b—but we must admit, those features are also pretty nice.

Vince Vaughn's Palmolive Condo Being Seen at

As we reached a new high of 1,601 visits yesterday on, I was excited to check my analytics and see exactly what it is home buyers and site visitors in Chicago were looking at. To no surprise, many were viewing Gold Coast condos for sale, Streeterville high-rise real estate and a variety of other downtown Chicago neighborhood pages that I happen to specialize in for my clients.

But before long, something a bit unusual happened to catch my eye. As I was scanning through all the statistics on Google analytics, I noticed I had over 150 page views on my Palmolive Condos For Sale page within the last 24 hours.

At first, I was caught a little off guard. Was

CTA Releases New Train Tracker Amenities

The CTA is continuing to make progress towards bettering Chicago’s grossly outdated “L” system as it recently unveiled a couple new tech-savvy options riders can access in order to track where a train is located and how long it will take before arriving at your station. Unfortunately, many of us still haven’t experienced the new, highly publicized rail cars that were part of a massive $1 billion order of 706 cars. Unknown safety concerns have been the culprit behind this unexpected setback, but I can obviously understand why these issues weren’t addressed before coughing up the one billion dollars. I mean that kind of money MUST be like pocket change to a high-end outfit such as the Chicago Transit Authority,

800 S. Wells #501 Price Hike After Short Sale

800 S Wells #501It’s not unusual for a downtown Chicago condo that just came onto the real estate market to catch my eye or grab my attention in some way. Usually, it’s either an upscale residence in the prominent Gold Coast neighborhood or a terrific deal in the neighborhood I happen to live in, which is Streeterville. Today was a little different, however. As I was scanning through the MLS, I noticed 800 S. Wells #501 was just put back on the market with a list price of $250,000. If you’re not familiar with the listing or the location, this particular condo is in the River City building in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood. I’ll be the first to admit that the finishes in unit #501, which include granite countertops,

Even better, if you’re a Chicago homebuyer needing nearby public transportation, the Kimball Brown Line Stop is only a short walk away, with the CTA 81 bus route conveniently running alongside Lawrence Avenue. If any of this information sounds even the slightest bit intriguing, keep reading; it gets MUCH better. Below, I’ve posted pictures of 2 different condos at

Intriguing History @ 910 S. Michigan Ave

Recently, I wrote a blog about a new listing I obtained inside the historic South Loop building at 910 South Michigan Avenue. That particular condo, 910 S. Michigan Avenue #1201, was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom residence with additional den space and tremendous updates that included custom track lighting and beautiful modifications to the custom-built fireplace. Now just a few weeks later, I’ve acquired a similar listing at the Michigan Avenue Lofts, only this time the condo number is 1401. 910 South Michigan Avenue #1401 is also a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo that boasts an unobstructed Grant park, Lake Michigan and Michigan ave view, a spacious, wide-open floor plan with an inviting large foyer and angles honey

New Listing @ 910 S. Michigan in South Loop

Very recently, 910 S. Michigan Avenue #1201 has come onto Chicago’s real estate market and should be considered a tremendous value around the South Loop neighborhood. Unit 1201 at 910 S. Michigan Avenue is a clean, recently updated condo with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom plus den and a remarkable sun room overlooking Grant Park, South Michigan Avenue and gorgeous Lake Michigan. Plenty of natural light along with newly installed custom lighting in the living room provide excellent lighting throughout the condo and a wall was even removed to allow for a spacious, open concept that includes a formal dining room that’s perfect for entertaining or hosting a dinner party. Some modern and attractive modifications have

Nicholas Colagiovanni Achieves a Career Milestone!!

Baird & Warner Ted Guarnero Recently, a colleague of mine, Nicholas Colagiovanni, was named part of the Top 1000 real estate professionals in the United States for 2011. The honor recognizes individual real estate agents based on their total amount of closed transaction volume from the year prior and is a milestone that Nicholas and our entire team should be proud of. I partnered with Nicholas on numerous occasions and there’s no doubt that each experience he went above and beyond even my highest expectations. Throughout his career, he’s always worked well with other agents in our business and in my case, has really taught me a lot about how to further advance myself in such a high-paced, fast moving environment here in Chicago.
