May is usually the perfect month to start gearing up for outdoor events and activities. Although many Chicagoans are antsy to get out and about as soon as the calendar switched over to April, the weather seems to be a bit milder around this time of year, and events, activities, and other fun-filled things to do really start to pick up as we kick off one of our favorite months of the year.

Ravinia 2014 Concert Schedule

Although we only just changed the calendar over to April, it’s never too early to start thinking about summertime in Chicago—or what many like to call “outdoor concert season!” Just several weeks ago, Ravinia announced the 2014 summer schedule, and after just a quick glance, it seems plenty of great acts will be coming to Chicago’s North Shore all the way through mid-September.
