The CTA Brown Line services the Lincoln Square neighborhood with a convenient stop right off of Western Avenue. The CTA #81 bus travels east/west on Lawrence Avenue while the main, #49 north/south bus follows Western Avenue. Additionally, CTA bus #78 runs east/west along Montrose Ave. whereas the #11 bus heads up and down Lincoln Avenue, hitting nearly very north side Chicago neighborhood close to the lake.
